Public Asked Not to Interfere with Construction Signs

The Department of Public Works reminds residents that construction signs or barrels should not be moved or interfered with. Construction signs provide important information about hazards, and are an essential tool for construction and community safety.

Road or sidewalk closure signs notify pedestrians or vehicles of a closure and are located in such a manner to notify people where they can make a choice about which route to take. Interfering with these signs is a safety concern and can be extremely inconvenient for pedestrians, particularly if they have mobility issues.

Please contact the Public Works Department at 905 852 9181 ext 202, or email info@uxbridge.ca to report damage or interference with any posted signs.

Let’s all work together to make our Brock St. Culvert construction project safe and incident free.
